Pyrosol buffer is recommended for reconstituting PyrotellŪ reagent or PyrotellŪ-T reagent when testing strong electrolytes, strongly buffered solutions (especially bicarbonate buffers), and solutions that are difficult to adjust within the required pH range using an acid or base. Pyrosol buffer is also available with a pH indicator for gel-clot applications.
