How To Order
Our customer service representatives are available to assist you with
orders and pricing requests. All orders received from areas that are represented
by a distributor will be forwarded to that distributor for processing.
Please provide the following information when placing your order:
• Company Name
• Contact Name
• Billing Address
• Shipping Address
• Telephone Number
• Fax Number (if an acknowledgment is required)
• Purchase Order Number (unless paying by credit card)
• Products To Be Ordered
• Catalog Number
• Package Size
• Quantity
• Customs Broker or Agent (for international shipments only)
• VAT Number
Terms and Conditions of Sale
All prices are in U.S. dollars. Payment terms are net 30 days from invoice
date. Shipments are F.O.B. Falmouth, Massachusetts, USA. Prices are subject
to change without notice. Payment must be made is U.S. dollars. Bank charges
are not to be deducted from invoice amount. International wire transactions
are accepted, please contact Accounts Receivable at ext. 2221 for routing
information.
AMEX®, VISA®, and MasterCard®, are also accepted. If payment
is to be made by credit card, the following information is required:
• Type of Credit Card
• Card Number
• Expiration Date of Card
• Name (as it appears on the card)
Shipping
Domestic: Orders are shipped primarily Monday through
Thursday excluding holidays. All orders are shipped by our preferred carrier,
Federal Express. Shipping costs will be prepaid and added to the invoice.
International: Federal Express and Nippon Express are
our preferred international shippers. All shipping costs are prepaid and
added to the invoice. If the order includes temperature sensitive products
there is a dry ice free which will be added to the invoice.
Disclaimer
Seikagaku America (SAM) and Associate of Cape Cod, Inc. (ACC) warrant
that the material sold meet the quality standards at the time of shipment.
Under this warranty, liability is limited to replacement of the product.
Neither SAM nor ACC are liable for any consequential damages or loss.
All products listed in the catalog are for research use only. They are
not intended for human diagnostic, food or drug uses. Temperatures listed
represent ranges: 4 = 2° to 8° -20 = -10° to -30° -70°
to -80°.
Return Policy
All discrepancies must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Returns
cannot be accepted without a Return Authorization number and all products
must be returned in the condition in which it was received. You must contact
either the Customer Service Department or the Technical Services Department
to receive a return authorization number before shipping any materials
to SAM.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I set up an account?
It is not necessary to set up an account in advance of placing your first
order. When you order for the first time, we will ask for the correct
billing and shipping addresses and, for our Massachusetts customers only,
any necessary sales tax information that we may require. Each account
may have multiple shipping addresses, but only one billing address. Once
an account has been set up for you, your Customer ID Number (or account
number) will appear on both the Packing List and Invoice for every order.
Each time you order you will need to provide a purchase order number or
credit card information.
Your company may have more than one account with us. In addition to setting
up multiple accounts if necessary to meet your needs, we currently give
separate Customer ID Numbers to accounts doing business with each of our
three divisions:
• Associates of Cape Cod, Inc. (ACC)
• Seikagaku America (SAM)
• Associates of Cape Cod’s Contract Test Service (CTS)
Does ACC/SAM/CTS accept credit cards?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, or American Express cards, including government
cards and ProCards. We require the following information in order to process
your order for payment by credit card:
• Type of card
• Card number
• Expiration date of card
• Complete name of the person to whom the card is issued

Many of our monoclonal antibodies and other selected reagents can be
purchased in bulk quantities offering significant savings, please send
us a bulk inquiry and we will be happy to let you know availability and
pricing. (Additional time may be required for antibodies not stocked in
bulk sizes but the savings opportunities offset the delay.)
