SENIOR PURCHASING AGENT
Responsible for all phases of the procurement process within established procedures. This would include assurance of the supply of critical raw materials and operating supplies, effective negotiation of contracts for services, development of a reliable supplier base and ensure policies and procedures are compliant with existing quality standards. Plan and release purchase orders in support of the Production Plan. Develop a professional procurement department with a high quality of service and ethics.
Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline required. Must have 5 years technical purchasing experience at a senior level, preferably in a medical device or pharmaceutical environment; APICS or C.P.M. certification required; experience with cGMP and ISO 13485 quality systems preferred.
QC SUPERVISOR
Manage the development, implementation and maintenance of quality control systems and activities in accordance with applicable ISO standards, FDA guidelines and ACC quality management system. Ensure that all methods and standard operating procedures used to test and release materials from the Quality Control laboratory are written, validated, current and in compliance with cGMP and applicable guidances. Administer training programs to ensure that all Quality Control laboratory personnel have the proper training. Carry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance and resolving problems.
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline required. Must have experience with quality control systems and at least 5 years experience in the medical device, biotech or pharmaceutical industry; at least two years supervisory experience required.
QUALITY CONTROL LABORATORY ANALYST
Skilled and detail driven laboratory professional to perform QC laboratory release testing for products manufactured in-house and outside raw materials in conformance with cGMP and company SOP’s. The position includes performing product sampling, laboratory assays, and assay development. Two to three years experience in a QC laboratory, LAL testing a plus. Along with excellent attention to detail, good communication skills and experience in a cGMP laboratory are essential. A BS in biochemistry, chemistry, or biology is required.
TEMPORARY PRODUCTION TECHNICIANS
Full-time temporary workers to collect and process blood cells from Horseshoe Crabs to produce LAL - a test for a bacterial toxin. Lab experience is helpful but not required for this exciting and unique opportunity. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, hard working, detail oriented, team players with a positive attitude. Work will last from Spring until Fall and possibly beyond.
SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS SPECIALIST
Candidate will facilitate and support ACC product-related software development projects; provide technical advice, training, trouble-shooting, instrumentation and software support to both ACC internal staff as well as ACC customers; visit customers when necessary to troubleshoot problems and to provide training; provide telephone technical support for endotoxin detection products; perform instrument calibration and validation and review applicable data; maintain and upgrade technical literature and course materials; thorough understanding of GMP/ISO as they relate to LAL products. Knowledge of photometric instrumentation and related software. Ability to work in a customer-support operation. Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
QUALITY SYSTEMS SPECIALIST II/QA ENGINEER
Responsibilities: review and monitoring of compliance with QMS, continuous improvement root cause analyses, CAPAs and OOS test results. Perform risk assessments, write SOPs. Knowledge of sterilization, depyrogenation, statistics and knowledge of cGMP and ISO 13485:2003 required. A BS in an engineering discipline and 2-4 years QA experience in an FDA regulated biologic or med device company preferred.
