Associates of Cape Cod, Inc. (ACC), located in East Falmouth, Massachusetts, was founded in 1974 by Dr. Stanley Watson, a researcher at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.  ACC was the first company licensed by the FDA to manufacture LAL for use as a quality control test for endotoxin in the pharmaceutical and medical device markets. 

Our company has grown through the years, and in 1997 we were further strengthened when we were acquired by one of the most prestigious and revered Japanese biopharmaceutical companies, Seikagaku Corporation.  That event brought two different companies with one common goal; to be the best provider of life science products and services in our many industries.

In September of 2004, ACC dedicated the opening of a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing and research facility, to produce the highest quality reagents in the industry.  ACC has grown to be an internationally recognized leader, with over 150 employees, offices on three continents and a distribution network servicing 59 countries.  With the opening of this new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, ACC is strategically positioned to become a market leader in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, nutraceuticals, cosmetics and tissue engineering industries.
